I made this app because anyone who uses their vehicle for work needs to track their mileage, and it really helps at tax time. Tap Start, drive, slide to stop: it works out your claim at HMRC rates (55p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles in 2026–27, then 25p), tots up your tax year and exports a CSV or PDF for your return or your accountant. It even estimates the CO2 from each trip and your whole tax year, alongside your claim.

Can I export my mileage log for my tax return?
Yes. Export a CSV for Excel or Numbers, or a PDF for your records or your accountant. Exporting is never locked, even after your free trips are used.
Does Quidometer track my trips automatically?
No. It records when you press Start and stops when you say. Location is used only between Start and Stop of a trip you started.
Does Quidometer show the CO2 from my driving?
Yes. Since version 1.1.0 it shows an estimated CO2 figure for each trip and for the tax year, based on UK Government (DESNZ) 2026 conversion factors. Pick your vehicle type in Settings.
