Who we are

Quidometer is published by Michael Dunnaway (Mike). Contact: mike@cryptohodl.uk.

What the app does

Quidometer is a UK mileage log for iPhone. Your trip log is stored on your device only, using SwiftData on the iPhone. There is no backend account and no cloud sync of trips.

Location / GPS

GPS is used only to measure mileage and to record the start and end of a route on this device.

Start and end coordinates are sent to Apple Maps reverse-geocoding so the app can show postcodes. That request goes to Apple, not to a third-party analytics firm. We do not run our own servers that receive your trip coordinates.

What we do not do

Payments

A one-time Lifetime unlock is handled through StoreKit 2 and Apple. Payment details stay with Apple; we do not receive your card number.

Your control over data

You can delete trips in the app. Uninstalling Quidometer removes the on-device data stored by the app.

Children

Quidometer is not directed at children under 13.
