Pressie is a gift list app for iPhone that keeps each person’s Christmas ideas, budget and card in one place. Its reminders never show gift names, so nobody glancing at your lock screen finds out what they’re getting.
I made Pressie because I wanted help remembering birthdays and gifts, and Christmas is all of them at once. It’s £2.99, paid once, with no in-app purchases, no adverts and no subscription.

Tips for a calmer Christmas list
- Write the list before the shopping. Everyone on it, even the ones you’ll “sort later”.
- Set a budget per person first. It’s easier to stick to a number you chose in October than one you discover in December.
- Jot ideas down when you hear them. A passing “I could do with a new…” in September is the best gift idea you’ll get all year.
- Mark things bought as you go. Saves buying two of something, or none.
- Check what you gave last year. Repeats happen to the best of us.
- Don’t forget the cards. Tick them off with the presents.
- Leave time for posting. Check the carriers’ last posting dates for anything that needs to travel.
Private, and paid for once
